People speak as their mouth was made to talk. Usually in their mother tongue, which should babble, caress, and thunder – to express thoughts and feelings as vividly and clearly as possible! A handful of obsessed writers, like Karel Čapek or Pavel Eisner, tried to warn against the decline of Czech, with the clear-sighted understanding that language expresses the soul of a nation – it is how even small nations project themselves into the cosmos. And into eternity!
We try to subtly pass on our own passion for the beauty of Czech to you, the audience, in a playful, humorous, and above all concise form – to delight you, and perhaps even make you laugh.
