Kateřina Volánková

Born 15.06. 1993
A graduate of DAMU (The Academy of Performing Arts in Prague) in drama directing under Jan Nebeský and Prof. Daria Ullrichová, she first studied cultural management and theatre science at Masaryk University in Brno. She has worked with the CED Brno, Činoherní klub, Letí Theatre, JEDL Theatre Association and the National Theatre as part of the ND Young series. During her studies at the DAMU she created two very successful graduation productions, the musical The Beggar’s Opera and the chamber theatre production The Worm in the Human Heart, of which she was both the author and the director. She has been with the Dejvice Theatre since September 2023.
